2. Each year, Oakdale's program recognizes properties for outstanding landscaping with the Acorn Award. Nominations are due by June 30. 

   • Nominate as many properties as you'd like. 
   • You may nominate your own property.
   • Properties being nominated must be visible from a public street. 
   • Properties in the Residential Category that have previously won an Acorn Award cannot be considered again for at least five years. Preference may be given to properties that have not previously won.
   • Nominations must include a photo of the property.
