This newsletter is intended to provide updates on the new City of Oakdale Public Works facility. More information about the project can also be found on the New Public Works Facility webpage.

Construction Progress

Progress continues to be made on the new Public Works Facility towards an early 2026 opening.

The floors in the office area and fleet storage space have been poured. Interior wall construction is now underway in these areas. The operations spaces are being prepared for the floors to be completed in the next month.

Progress on the building exterior includes brick work currently underway and preparation for window and door installation.

On the site, the retaining wall on the west side of the property has been completed. This wall increases the yard storage space including an area for salt storage. The fuel tank has been installed on the fuel island. Concrete curb and gutter have been placed and site paving will be next to be completed.
