Greenway Avenue Sidewalk

Background

The proposed Greenway Avenue sidewalk project intends to help create a safer and more interconnected pedestrian and bicycle network by installing a sidewalk along Greenway Avenue between Hudson Boulevard N and 7th Street N. The sidewalk will improve access to the newly opened Greenway Station stop on the METRO Gold Line BRT while providing a safer alternative for Tartan High School students to walk and bike to school. 

Additionally, the Greenway Avenue sidewalk will improve connectivity to other pedestrian and bicycle paths including along 7th Street N, Hudson Boulevard N, and 10th Street N. Various approved City plans highlight the importance of a sidewalk along Greenway Avenu, including the Oakdale Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan and the Greenway Avenue Station Bus Rapid Transit-Oriented Development Plan.
