Collection Required

All properties in Oakdale must be under contract for weekly trash collection.

Trash Containers

All trash containers must be equipped with tight fitting covers to prevent insects and rodents from entering.

Containers must be stored inside, or behind or within five feet of the front of the house or garage. Containers may be stored outside of this permitted area if they are screened from view by City-approved screening. To learn about screening options, please call Building Inspections at 651-739-5150.

Collection Day

For collection, containers should be placed on the driveway apron, behind the curb, in an easily accessible location the night before or on the day of collection prior to 7AM. Emptied containers should be removed from the curb by the end of collection day.
