Environmental Center

The Washington County Environmental Center provides free and convenient disposal of household hazardous waste, electronics, and recyclables. The center is open to residents of Washington, Anoka, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, and Ramsey counties.

Organics Drop-off

Washington County now offers free organics collection at either the Environmental Center or the Northern Yard Waste site. Get started by picking up a free collection kit. Learn more and get an organic starter kit.  

Refrigerator Recycling

Xcel Energy residential customers with a functioning refrigerator can earn a rebate and have it picked up and recycled free of charge. Schedule a pick up at Xcel Energy.
